INXS Drummer Jon Farriss Embarks on Solo Endeavors

Life On The Scene has long been a supporter of the iconic Australian band INXS, so today we were happy to hear from drummer Jon Farriss and learn that he’s currently in Los Angeles working on “solo creative endeavors- producing, songwriting, and collaborating”.

INXS announced an end to their touring days on stage in Perth, Western Australia in November of 2012 after more than 35 years of performing together. Not much has been heard from the band members since that time aside from an occasional appearance at social events around Australia.

Earlier in 2014, Jon Farriss launched his own website and has been making conscious effort to be more present on social media. I’m looking forward to seeing where this next chapter in his musical career takes him!
